Name: Taka

Age: 14, almost 15

Birthplace: Haru’s village

Abilities: Taka’s an earthbender. She’s still learning, even though she started when she was young. Her attacks and defenses are normally strong and quick. There are exceptions, though they are slight. She also sometimes likes to taunt her opponent, if they are really making her mad.

Immunities: Earth based attacks

Resistances: Water

Weaknesses: Metal

Personality: Taka's the type of girl that doesn't take foolishness. She normally greets people with a casual "Hello". It takes a little while before she trusts people. She also hates it when people make fun of her because she's a girl or because of her looks. She's a very strong girl - physically and emotionally - but she has a tendency to procrastinate.

Appearance: Taka represents the Earth Kingdom well. She wears a forest green tank-like shirt, and beige pants with brown shoes. Taka is actually pretty muscular for a girl. She’s also unusually tall, and this can sometimes get her teased. She has slightly tanned skin, brown eyes, and keeps her chestnut brown hair down. Some people wonder how she can fight with her hair down, because her hair isn’t necessarily short.

History: Taka lived in the same Earth Kingdom village as Haru all her life. They were great friends. When the fire nation troops invaded when she was 9 years old, it’s no wonder she was one of the first one captured, she was harmlessly practicing her earthbending, and back then she was so petite. Taka was taken care of by Tyro, who she knew from being friends with Haru for so long. She still hates the Fire Nation "prison", after being in it for five years. Then a Water Tribe girl named Katara came along. Taka doesn’t know too much about Katara, except that she saved her village. She also made Taka believe again that the Avatar had returned. After all the time there was no Avatar, Taka was beginning to lose hope. Now Taka normally stays at her village with her mother and father, but she sometimes likes to go out searching.
